IntellectusPM is a Project Management firm formed in 2007. Together, the partners bring over 40 years experience in designing, managing and delivering unique and complex projects.
The Partners' recent clients include the Archives of Ontario, St. Michael's College School and the University of Toronto.
- Intellectus: (noun, Latin) coming to know; a comprehension achieved through an interior understanding.
The single biggest risk to successful project delivery is delays. Delays increase costs, disrupt scheduling and impact quality. Delays are primarily caused by an inability to, or fear of, making decisions. The typical fundamental function of project managers is to monitor and report on cost and schedule variances for others to make decisions. They apply rational, analytical tools, which, although important, lack the ability to assist the client in decision-making.
The Intellectus PM model of service delivery is based upon significantly mitigating the risk of delays by making responsible decisions on behalf of the client, thereby keeping the project moving. We do this by:
- investing the time to first come to know the client's business – and thereby what is most critical in the client’s eyes
- grasping needs and goals along with expectations for time and budget
- consistently applying 'Our Approach'
Our clients and employers value our ability to quickly gain an understanding of their vision and to operate on their behalf. In doing so we deliver projects not only on time and on budget but intact – we deliver what the client set out to achieve. To this end, we only take on a select number of clients and their projects in order to provide the depth and value of service we promise.
